about

Every extreme that is covered under the rock n’ roll label can be associated with them. A Boston-based band that covers every nook and cranny of the genre, Focusin is rock.

Focusin has played to handfuls of people in local dive bars on Sunday nights and have opened for the likes of Def Leppard, Puddle of Mudd, and Blink 182 in a 50,000 seat stadium. They have songs that “go to 11” and ballads that make everyone grab their lighters. They know when to crank out some blues, and when to break out the acoustic guitars. Focusin simply make it difficult for anyone to utter the phrase, “Oh, they sound just like…”.

Formed in 2002, Focusin has played gigs all over New England including such hailed clubs as Boston’s Paradise and The Middle East. In 2003, they were winners of Rolling Rock’s national battle of the bands. Most recently, they have released their first full-length CD titled “Heavens to Murgatroid”, a testament to their motley brand of rock genius.
